Well, we had Ava's first birthday party tonight at the church. A lot of her family and some of her friends were able to celebrate with her. She loved getting to eat her cake and I know she'll really love the toys as we slowly bring out a new one every once-in-a-while.
Thank you to everyone who made it such a great day. We know that a lot of people played a part in making everything work out so well.
There will be a day when we will look back on this with Ava and be able to share with her the numerous people who were there, who wish they could have been there, & who helped make it a special day for her.

Painted
We've painted quite a bit. We've put up a lot of our decorations. And now we've got family coming over to check it all out soon. A little prayer for us as we get everything just the way we want it for our big showing. I need some more motivation to really get things pick-up (mainly in reference to picking up my laundry).
